STEP 9 found semaglutide led to 13.7% average weight loss and improved knee-pain scores at 68 weeks in adults with obesity and knee osteoarthritis.

At week 68, mean body-weight change was −13.7% with semaglutide and −3.2% with placebo; WOMAC knee-pain score change was −41.7 and −27.5 points, respectively.
