Cookie Policy

What cookies we set, why, and how you can manage them.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about you between visits. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels.

Cookies We Use

  • Strictly Necessary: Required for the Site to function (e.g., load balancing, security). These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4): We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visitor behaviour. It sets first-party cookies named _ga, _ga_<container-id>, and a few related identifiers that typically expire after 13 months. IP addresses are anonymized; advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. You can opt out site-wide with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by clearing site cookies, or by enabling Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control in your browser.
  • Privacy-First Analytics (Fathom & Ahrefs): We additionally use Fathom Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics, which are cookieless, GDPR / CCPA / PECR-compliant measurement tools. They do not set tracking cookies, do not collect personal data, and do not fingerprint visitors — nothing in this section applies to them. They are listed here only for transparency.
  • Affiliate Attribution: When you click an outbound link to a provider, the destination provider may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. We do not control these cookies.

Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you refuse, accept, or delete cookies through your settings. Disabling some cookies may impact site functionality.

Do Not Track

We honor browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable. We do not respond to legacy "Do Not Track" headers, which are not consistently implemented across browsers.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date.
