What a First Year Costs

These totals assume one month at each dose step until the top maintenance dose, then that dose for the rest of the year, and current prices throughout. Your schedule depends on your clinician and how you tolerate each step.

How to Buy at These Prices

  1. Get a prescription from any licensed prescriber: your own doctor or a telehealth provider.
  2. Have it sent electronically to NovoCare Pharmacy (Wegovy) or LillyDirect's pharmacy partners (Zepbound, Foundayo), or use the savings offer at a retail pharmacy where the manufacturer allows it.
  3. If you have commercial insurance, check coverage first: a covered prescription with a savings card can cost far less than self-pay.
  4. Medicare enrollees may qualify for the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, which caps Wegovy, Zepbound KwikPen and Foundayo at $50 a month for eligible people.

Telehealth programs that prescribe these drugs usually charge close to the manufacturer price for the medication and add a membership. In October 2026 those memberships ranged from about $74 to $199 a month.
